Morning Brew Hawaii
In the summer of 1994 Morning Brew's humble beginning began as the "Krakatoa Café" Coffee Cart on the slopes of Diamond Head. After honing their skills while serving the theater patrons and students at K.C.C. Debbie and Peter Anderson received an opportunity to expand the concept into a permanent retail space. On March 17, 1995 "Morning Brew" opened its doors for business at the Kailua Shopping Center. For the first year, Pete and Debbie worked tirelessly to build the foundation for the dream they had shared for some time. "Our goal was to re-create the unique, friendly and fun atmosphere of some of the favorite cafes we had experienced on our travels over the years. With extensive retail and service industry experience between the two of them, Pete and Debbie shared similar ideas of what made a business work. "Unique store design and layout will only go so far, you've got to have a great product and the right people with the best attitude to really make a place work!" Debbie and Pete are proud of their menu, with coffee and tea drinks that rival those big chain cafes. Also, their tasty and healthy selection of breakfast and lunch dishes have been praised in many local news publications. What Pete and Debbie say really makes it all come together is their staff who they contribute much of their success to.
